1. Who we are

GameSpend is operated by KGZHANG88G Pty Limited, based in Victoria, Australia. Contact us at admin@kgzhang88g.com for privacy questions, account requests, complaints, or product support.

2. Information we collect

We process account details such as your email address, password authentication record, display name, avatar, language, and preferences. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords.

We store information you choose to enter, including game purchases, amounts and recorded currencies, dates, budgets, notes, reflections, pause decisions, and selected feelings or triggers. My Base features use room layouts, decorations, and progress records.

If you use reminders, we process your chosen schedule, time zone, message, and notification registration information. We also process account-security and operational information needed to authenticate requests and run the service.

3. How we use information

We use this information to operate your account, display your records and reports, provide budgeting tools, save your preferences, support reminders, check subscription access, respond to requests, and protect the service.

GameSpend does not automatically monitor or block purchases in other games. Spending records come from information you enter or review before saving.

Essential account messages, such as verification and password-reset emails, are separate from optional weekly summaries and over-budget emails. You can manage optional email choices and reminders in the app. Notification delivery also depends on your device, permissions, and service availability.

4. Receipts and device sign-in

When you choose receipt scanning, your image is uploaded for server-side text recognition and processed in memory. The extracted text and fields are returned for your review. Saving a purchase stores the reviewed purchase fields; the receipt-scanning route does not save the image or raw extracted text as an account database record. This is not a promise of immediate erasure from process memory, infrastructure logs, or backups, whose retention is separate.

Optional native biometric sign-in uses your device’s authentication and secure credential storage. GameSpend does not receive your fingerprint or face templates through this feature. Browser sign-in does not provide native biometric authentication.

5. Optional analytics and device storage

Optional usage analytics uses Google Firebase/Google Analytics when you consent. It uses permitted usage events and pseudonymous identifiers. Purchase content, game names, receipt contents, journal text, emotional responses, names, and email addresses are excluded from permitted analytics event parameters.

Use the analytics controls on this page or in Settings to allow optional analytics or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent stops optional collection on that device; it does not automatically delete information already held by the analytics provider. Contact us about provider-held data requests.

The app and website use device storage for sign-in, preferences, consent choices, and cached information. These operational records are separate from optional analytics.

6. Providers and sharing

We use hosting, database, email, notification, and other service providers to operate GameSpend. Google services support optional analytics, RevenueCat manages subscription and entitlement information, and Apple App Store or Google Play processes store payments under its own terms and privacy policy.

We share information needed for these functions and may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service. Our permitted analytics events do not include your private purchase or journal content.

Providers may process information outside Australia. Processing locations, retention, and deletion arrangements vary by provider. We have not confirmed a fixed retention period covering analytics-provider data, mail-provider records, or infrastructure logs and backups, so this policy does not promise one. Contact us for available information about the providers relevant to your request.

7. Retention and account deletion

Retention depends on the purpose of the record, service operation, legal obligations, and provider arrangements. Account records, device storage, provider systems, logs, and backups have separate lifecycles; there is no single deletion period covering all of them.

You can delete your account through the app’s account-deletion controls. This removes your account and its associated GameSpend records from active account storage, including purchases, budgets, journal and pause records, reminders, and related account records. Non-account aggregate operational counts may remain.

Deleting your account does not automatically delete provider records, payment records, logs, backups, or data on other devices. It also does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel store subscriptions through the store account that purchased them.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

Use available app controls to review and correct your information, change preferences, export records, or delete your account. If you cannot access your account, or want to request access, correction, deletion, or raise a privacy complaint, email admin@kgzhang88g.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Your rights depend on applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons; provider-held information may require a separate request. If our response does not resolve your concern, you may contact the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.

GameSpend is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without any legally required consent, contact us so we can review it.

9. Security and policy changes

We use account authentication and access controls to protect information, but no internet service or device is completely secure. Keep your sign-in details and devices protected and tell us about suspected unauthorised access.

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The current version and its update date appear on this page. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
